We turned up on a very busy month on the off chance. Honestly I can't fault anything. The service, what can I say, Very warm as welcoming. Every member of staff was warm, attentive and friendly. The food, we started with hollumi and prawn skewers and I think it wasone of the best starters I ever had Main, turkey crown, absolutely beautiful and the veg was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning.10/10

We recently visited Santonio Bar Restaurant on Hartlepool Marina and decided to try their chicken parmo and lasagne—two classics that didn't disappoint. The parmo was a standout: a generous breaded chicken escalope smothered in creamy béchamel sauce and bubbly melted cheese, garnished with fresh parsley for that extra touch. It came with a side of thick-cut, golden chips served in a cute metal bucket and a crisp salad with red onions and a light dressing, making for a hearty, satisfying plate. The lasagne was equally impressive, layered with rich bolognese, pasta sheets, and plenty of cheese, baked to perfection with a nice caramelized top. Portions were generous, the atmosphere was relaxed with marina views, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Great value for money in a family-friendly spot. Highly recommend for anyone craving Italian comfort food in Hartlepool!

Stopped in here for lunch today after walking up to the marina from Seaton. From the moment we entered the restaurant we felt we had made a good choice. Staff were super friendly, and the restaurant atmosphere is lovely. There were three of us and we just ordered a starter between us and a main each. The potato skins we had to start were cooked to perfection and the garlic mayo with them was great. For mains we went for Margarita Pizza, Garlic Mushroom Loaded Fries and the Funghi Chicken Parmo. The pizza was loaded with cheese and had a beautiful crispy base. The fries were cooked in garlic oil and were fantastic. The Parmo was perfect for me. Really creamy Bechamel sauce and the chicken was thin and the breadcrumb crispy. Was our first visit but 100% guarantee it won't be our last. Do yourself a favour and give this place a try. Their menu is extensive, and from seeing other people ordering other dishes, they all looked amazing.

We visited as family of 4. After randomly spotting it, we thought we give it a try for our lunch on Saturday. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Warm friendly welcome upon entering. Great atmosphere and spacious seating a modern feel. Great food and plenty to choose from. We have a mix of starters and the main courses we're outstanding! Highly recommend the parmo platter and the Mediterranean flatbread. We can't wait to go back and try more on the menu.

Had Sunday lunch here last week with the family. The potions were great, the meats were cooked to perfection. Recommend the 3 meat roast dinner with belly pork, beef and lamb. Plenty of rich, thick gravy and plenty of veg too. Would definitely return as staff were pleasant, there was plenty of availablity even at lunchtime on a Sunday with no booking! Brilliant
